Their war is against our children: the Lady of Guadalupe.

Ave María! May our Lady of Guadalupe, with her loving Child bless us, and together with St. Juan Diego and all saints, pray for us! Today, on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Immaculate Queen of the Americas, I wish to not only honor her victory but remind her children of her many enemies. There is a hymn that is sung in Mexico and the US-Southwest called Nino Dio (Child God). According to legend this hymn was written by a child that was abducted by the Aztecs to be sacrificed. Thankfully this child was later liberated by the Spanish. Unfortunately this author was not alone in her tragic story. By the Aztec’s own records, every municipal city in the empire had to sacrifice at least 1,000 people every two years. The people chosen for these sacrifices were always specific to the idol they were murdered in the name of. For example, for idols dedicated to war enemy warriors were captured and killed in sport like games. For feminine idols, often virgins were offered up by their fathers to be sacrificed. It should not be shocking to hear that there was a large number of these idols that demanded the sacrifice of children.A prime example of this was the idol dedicated to rain, who demanded that certain  babies should be raised in extreme luxury.  This was done so that when they were old enough they would cry more as they were tortured to death. The tears and confusion was said to feed this rain-idol. This was the diabolical world the Catholic Spanish under Con Cortez found in 1519. Cortez reported that the chief pagan priest told him 1/5 children were sacrificed in the Aztec empire. Like any sane Catholic man, Cortez and his brave 600 Catholics knew that they had to end it. Don Cortez and his men were determined to destroy those idols and conquer those people in the name of God or to die trying. During the ensuing battles between the Catholics and the pagan Aztecs, a red standard was carried into battle by Cortez called the standard of the Annunciation. This standard contained an image of Our Lady in prayer shortly after the Annunciation. Despite facing odds of 1 against 1,500, the Spanish and their allies defeated the Aztecs. During the sack of the Aztec Capitol, the demonic, bloodthirsty idols were toppled and smashed into mud, and this Flag bearing the image of Our Lady and the tiny Christ child in her womb flee before all. Perhaps this image inspired the child who wrote that hymn “Nino Dios”. The hymn speaks beautifully: Niño Dios, tan humilde y eres Rey, tan pequeño y eres Dios “Child God, so Humble and you are King, so small and you are God.” What a humiliation to those disgusting devils that the Aztecs adored. So many virgins and little children were put to death in the name of those demonic idols, only for them to be destroyed by those carrying a banner of the Holy Virgin and the Divine child.

All of the Aztec idols were destroyed and many of those satanic temples were dedicated into Churches. The main Temple in what is today Mexico City was chiefly dedicated to an idol of the Feathered Serpent among several others. These idols were destroyed and over them was built a Church Dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption almost immediately after the Spanish Victory on 13 August 1521. What a fitting image, Our Lady and her Church crushing the feathered serpent and his temple. This church was elevated to a cathedral by King Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor and Pope Clement II, according to the bull of 9 September 1534 and, later, named Metropolitan by Pope Paul III in 1547. Unfortunately, in recent times there has been a resurgence from the devils of old Mexico. Starting in the 1950s various socialist and nationalist movements worked to revive ancient Aztec religion and culture. In Mexico these had deeply anti-catholic and anti-colonial sentiments, while in the US southwest (ironically never part of the Aztec empire) many Chicano movements pushed Aztec customs as an alternative to the Catholic church. In 2014, Aztec idols were marched through the streets of New York City during the People's Climate March. The largest and most honored being a serpent wrapped around a human skeleton. Recently in October Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum participated in an Aztec ceremony that included a prayer to idols and a cleansing ritual During her inauguration ceremony. Today driving through most Hispanic neighborhoods you will find at one Aztec idol spray painted somewhere. The revolutions that birthed the modern republics are to blame for removing God from society and the Church from its rightful place. In doing so they have allowed the feathered serpent and his followers to resume their work in public and with the aid of the state.

The revival of human-sacrifice.

With the recent social-revolution that began in the 1950s, there was an unusually fast return of human sacrifice into our everyday life. By the 1980s it seemed there was a massive amount of satanic cults and ritualistic human sacrifices on the daily news. Besides the aspects that harmed human life, these cults were fully protected by the state and recognized as legitimate religions. However, these cults were not alone. There is another form of human sacrifice that is not only allowed by the state but in a sense endorsed by it. According to former satanist cleric Zachary King, many abortions are performed as a ritualistic human sacrifice. In an interview he explained the process which will be linked below but I just give a viewers discretion. Perhaps this is the reason why the satanic temple officially considers abortion a sacrament. In fact the satanic temple took the state of Texas to court referring to abortion as part of a “religious ritual” and stated that Texas’ abortion ban infringed upon their religious rights. This should not surprise anyone, since it seems that since the beginning the cults and regimes against God have always enshrined the sacrifice of children. As early as the Book of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, written by Moses, was child sacrifice condemned. “Thou shalt not do in like manner to the Lord thy God. For they have done to their gods all the abominations which the Lord abhorreth, offering their sons and daughters, and burning them with fire” (Deuteronomy 12:31). This of course is referring to the customs surrounding the the idol of Moloch, an idol that demanded for infants to be burned alive. This practice continued off and on in the Old Testament, thus we hear in the Psalter. “And served their idols, and it became a stumbling block to them. And they sacrificed their sons, and their daughters to devils. And they shed innocent blood: the blood of their sons and of their daughters which they sacrificed to the idols of Chanaan. And the land was polluted with blood, And was defiled with their works: and they went aside after their own inventions. And the Lord was exceedingly angry with his people: and he abhorred his inheritance”(Psalms 105: 36-40).  It should be understood also that these sacrifices were not something done in secret but usually done with the backing of the state. Solomon, the king who built the first temple dedicated to God, also erected an idol of moloch for child sacrifice. This was done on mount offense east of Jerusalem, within sight of the Holy Temple. Various more kings would not only sanction their subjects to sacrifice their children but also offer up their own sons. “And thou hast taken thy sons, and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne to me: and hast sacrificed the same to them to be devoured. Is thy fornication small? Thou hast sacrificed and given my children to them, consecrating them by fire. And after all thy abominations, and fornications” (Ezekiel 16:20-21). At times holy rulers such as King Josiah would arise and stop the sacrifice. King Josiah, who restored the temple and altar of God, also purged his kingdom of idols. “And he [King Josiah] defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Ennom: that no man should consecrate there his son or his daughter through fire to Moloch” II Kings 22:10). This was a common theme during the triumph of Christ. Wherever Christ reigned, human sacrifice ceased by Christian policy regardless of place. An example, besides the Aztecs, would be Charlemagne in 800AD who forbid the Saxons from sacrificing children.

For almost 1000 years child sacrifice of any kind was forbidden in Christian society. However, since the fall of Christendom, this sacrifice has returned to great heights through abortion. In our own nation alone, Planned Parenthood murders about a million children a year. The old idols of the Aztecs or Moloch, the same bloodthirsty demons, have resume their abhorrent work demanding the blood of children. Let us look to that beautiful image which we celebrate today, Our Lady of Guadalupe. Not only an advent image but an image meant for the conversion of a wicked civilization. In the Mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe we hear these words in the alleluia Antiphon: The flowers have appeared in our land, the time of pruning is come (Song of Solomon 2:12). What a beautiful verse to meditate upon, when Our Lady, the mystical rose, first appeared there was much pruning to be done in the Americas. Today, there is not much different. Regimes and idols that call for the blood of the innocent have regained power. Demonic calls for children to be provided as a sacrifice. What a contrast to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Our Lady carried in her womb the promise of God, she does not demand for child to be sacrificed but instead offers her own son. No wonder she crushed the head of the feathered serpent. She fulfills the words: “God will provide Himself a victim” (Genesis 22:8).

Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe.

O Holy, Mary, Virgin Mother of God, who as Our Lady of Guadalupe didst aid in the conversion of Mexico from paganism in a most miraculous way, we now beseech thee to bring about in these our times the early conversion of our modern world from its present neo-paganism to the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of thy divine Son, Jesus Christ, starting in the Americas and extending throughout the entire world, so that soon there may be truly "one fold and one shepherd, (with all governments recognizing the reign of thy Son, Jesus Christ the King. This we ask of the Eternal Father, through Jesus Christ His Son Our Lord and by thy powerful intercession all for the salvation of souls, the triumph of the Church, and peace in the world. Amen.
